Illustrative timber shelter covering seating in a Welsh outdoor setting

[ Sport and community ]

Keep your supporters out of the rain

Covered seating, shelters and benches for clubs, village halls and community groups across Wales. We also know most of this gets paid for by a grant, so we will give you a drawing and a written quote to put in the application.

What it changes

Somewhere to stand in the rain

Parents and supporters stay for the whole match instead of sitting in the car.

Somewhere to sit after the game

A covered terrace outside the clubhouse keeps people on site, and keeps the bar busy.

Something the club is proud of

A carved club badge or a memorial bench becomes part of the ground rather than just another structure.

[ What we build for sport and community ]

Built for pitches, halls and villages.

Covered spectator seating

Somewhere for parents and supporters to stand out of the rain.

Dugouts and team shelters

Pitchside shelter built to take a Welsh winter.

Clubhouse terraces and seating

Somewhere to sit outside after the game.

Memorial benches

With a plaque or a carved dedication routered into the timber, made to last.

Village hall and church shelters

Covered space for the people who use the building.

Community garden structures

Raised beds, pergolas and covered seating for growing projects.

Noticeboards and signage

Carved timber boards that survive the weather.

Bespoke commissions

Tell us what the club needs and we will come and look.

[ How we work with clubs ]

How we work with clubs

A quote you can put in an application.

Funders want a proper breakdown, not a figure on the back of an envelope. We will come out, measure up and give you something you can submit. Our drawings are done by hand and to scale, which is exactly what a funder wants to see.

We will wait while you raise it.

Grant decisions take months and committees meet when they meet. A quote from us is not a countdown clock.

Volunteers can only do so much.

Your members can clear the ground and make the tea. We will bring the team, the kit and the insurance for the rest.

[ Paying for it ]

How clubs pay for it

Clubs and community groups across Wales pay for this kind of work through grants, community funds, fundraising or their own reserves, and most applications need a drawing and a written quote before anyone will consider it. Ask us for both at the start and there is no cost to you for them.

We are not funding advisers and we will not pretend to be. What we can do is give you the documents you need in the format a funder expects, and be straight with you about what something will actually cost.

[ Working on your site ]

Safe hands on a live site.

Most club grounds are used in the evenings and at weekends, so work has to fit around whoever is on the pitch. Here is what you need to know before we start.
