[ What we build ]
Hardwood and softwood benches, picnic tables and memorial seating, made in our own workshop and carved with whatever you want them to say. Most of the range is named after Welsh towns.
[ The range ]
Two-sided hardwood bench, so people can sit facing either way.
Logs sunk into the top, for a more rustic look.
Hard-wearing, in three colours, with stainless fixings.
Routered design with paint inlay, made to your own artwork.
[ Carved to order ]
Most of our benches can be routered with a school name, a badge, a dedication or your own design, in Welsh, English or both. It is what turns a bench into a memorial, or a piece of playground furniture into something that belongs to the school.
We also make a Friendship Bench range in several sizes, weatherproof and fade resistant, with personalisation.

[ Memorial seating ]
We make memorial benches with carved dedications or a fitted plaque, for schools, parks, clubs and community groups. Tell us the wording and we will set it out before anything is cut.
[ How they are built ]
Galvanised steel posts are concreted into the ground and the timber legs sit over them, so the timber never sits in wet ground.
Locally sourced oak and sweet chestnut, alongside Douglas fir, larch and spruce, from managed forests.
Everything is finished in an oil-based product, and we recommend re-coating each spring.
Every structure is drawn by hand, to scale, before anything is cut.

Everything we make is finished in an oil-based product, and we recommend re-coating each spring. That stops the timber cracking and splintering, keeps the water out and slows the algae that makes a surface slippery.
On a yearly maintenance plan we come back, inspect the timber, make good any minor damage and re-spray it. In year five we add an anti-fungal treatment.
[ How we work ]
We come to you, measure up and talk through what you need.
We draw it up by hand, to scale, and give you a fixed price.
Built by our own team in Ystrad Mynach.
Delivered and fitted on site by the people who made it.
We come back, inspect the timber and re-oil it, so it lasts.
